Vianel Bonilla – known online as _trip.v.art_ – is a New Jersey–based multidisciplinary fine artist of Puerto Rican and Dominican descent. She works primarily in oil paint and also creates pieces using acrylics, acrylic markers, charcoal, and pastels, depending on the intention of each artwork.

Her practice explores the female figure, personal identity, and the ways the male gaze shapes emotional and psychological experiences. Her work examines how external perceptions influence mental health, and she uses her space to open up about her own vulnerability. Her pieces draw from her personal experiences, transforming them into visual narratives that invite reflection and connection.

Bonilla holds an Associate’s degree in Fine Arts and has participated in nine group exhibitions across New York and New Jersey. Her work was also featured in Ekphrasis: Writing About Art (2022), highlighting the narrative power within her visual practice.

Through her multidisciplinary approach, Bonilla continues to build a body of work that merges intimacy with boldness, offering a contemporary lens on femininity, culture, and selfhood.
